I think the livestream all will probably great work for you. You could also set up a memberful account like what Jupiter Broadcasting does and they distribute the raw/no ads live shows from there too. Just an idea so you can generate some monthly income.

Loved the Gaming episode! I'm more of a competitive fps player so Overwatch, The Finals, and Splitgate for me. Like Brent I have never played StarCraft so he's not alone. For single player games, I'm currently playing Hogwarts Legacy. Though back up your saves cause Steam Cloud can be a bit finicky with multiple devices. Nearly lost 30hrs of gameplay if it wasn't for my steamdeck being shutdown when it happened. Overall, I definitely would like to see more gaming content. Might be an excuse if you guys Livestream with peertube or owncast if that's the case. Even Zap.stream has a platform built on Nostr and Sat Streaming. Or just an episode covering selfhosted live streaming. Rehellio is my tag on Steam if anyone is curious. Can't wait to see ya over at LFNW!

I'm really interested in what Cannonical has with Private Mobile Networks. Currently, I work with a local ISP that uses mostly Ubiquity AirMax Radios for Internet, but am looking into alternatives. This might be the solution to look into on our end for last mile connections. Plus we already have a few Microwave Connections so understand the licensing process. Thanks for covering this and I will let you know if it pans out on our end. Also hope to see you at LFNW. It always a hoot to talk to you and listen to your IT snanagans.

While I love to hear more gaming stuff in general, I think just discussing your experience instead of listening to clips would be the best way to go forward. Just hearing you guys playing and not having visual context was the confusing part. Otherwise you're better off just creating a gaming video instead as extra content for those curious. I get things are hard atm, but I wouldn't give up on the Bitcoin side. Keep it there, but also promote more of your paypal donations and amazon wishlist. Your music podcast really introduces me to all sorts of rock music and it is awesome. Even with your upcoming homestead podcast, you should enable it cause for me I mainly sat stream and it would suck to lose the ability to do that on your podcasts. When it comes to running relays, you guys can probably run your own filtered relay. Because if you take a look at a relay called filter.noster.wine, it has a way of aggregating multiple relays and giving you a feed. This is designed to reduce spam on the nostr network and also battery life because it's there's less rela's ones phone has to communicate to. So, if each podcast app has its own relay to handle its own community, then PodcastIndex can just take in those feeds that are submitted and then aggregate them together into a single global feed. Then that way that gives you a central information point, but if you guys go down, each podcaster has their own relay and then can handle their own loads. Just my two cents, still love you guys and I'll bet you do. Go podcasting.

The interview that Gardner Bryant did with Kyle from the Bazzite did a good overview of the situation. In all actuality if it came to it, this might be a situation where if 32-bit is important for steam and game preservation, it should be up to Valve to provide a way for this. The steam client already uses containers runtimes for stabilization so this also could apply to 32-bit support. Valve can also maintain there own repository of 32-bit libraries that distributions can pull from instead too. Also 3rd party repositorys are a thing and I wouldn't put it past someone to maintain on for this very reason too. Love ya Noah and Steve!

I also ended up subscribing to Alby Cloud. I tired to load Alby hub on my Raspberry Pi but kept running into roadblocks. Probably once I get my nextcloud server going, I will take a look into it again. Also tip for those who are getting started, you can use fountain or primal to get the necessary sats to get started but the with the first channel opening, it might not work. I ended up transferring the sats to the alby shared wallet first then pay it via the extension. I then connected it to my alby account to transfer the remaining sats over. I wish it was a bit more simpler but now I understand why it is a chore. Also Chris what are your thoughts about using PayPal to buys sats and transfering it over to alby? After my fiasco with River, I forgotten PayPal offers buying Bitcoin as well. I'm a Washington resident too so would that affect me tax wise?

I have to say fountain is working quite nice. I have an audio bug, but they got back to me with having a fix for the 1.1.8 release. Here's hoping. With that said, I would love an ability to add a song to my library from the player screen or a quick add of the tracklist of music podcasts to a playlist. It would be nice if the posts would format better on the nostr overall. It looks nice on fountain with linking to clips, podcasts, and/or songs, but on primal for example, it just shows the boost bot which isn't helpful. Also cross posting to activitypub would be awesome too. Mostr.pub by soapbox could be a way todo it. Eitherway, excited with what fountain is doing and what it has going down the road.

Finally got my fountain wallet name fixed and removed the "-nostr " add-on. I guess I had an account back in 2022 and had no email attached to it so I couldn't log in to it. So hopefully it won't be as much of a tounge twister now. Had a good laugh last time and it made my night. Either way keep on rocking Sir Libre! Would it be possible to look into Soapbox.pub and their server Ditto? Apparently it is a Nostr relay that also acts a fediserver with its bridge called Mostr. So basically giving you the best of both worlds. If it a good choice, it would be nice If JB hosted it's own server so it would make onboarding on Nostr easier and still be able to communicate. Great show you guys have. I love to hear about the behind the scenes work when it comes to podcasting 2.0. With regards to with auto generating voice for podcasting. This is happening with YouTube shorts and a lot of summary type videos for movies and shows so I wouldn't be surprised the same thing happens with podcasting. You're alright though, for me I do prefer the personal touch with podcasts so hopefully it won't be as big an issue as it is on video sharing sites.

Update... Well that was a bust with River. I did the ID verification, KYC BS, and the next day, my account was closed before I even had a chance to buy any Bitcoin. I had issues before with my address but this is a first for a exchange... Oh well... at least there are other ways to buy Bitcoin.

Finally got my account made with River and likely the kyc process wasn't painful. Had issues in the past due to my address. I still have some banking things I need to complete before I can start buying Bitcoin, but thank you for the recommendation and the affiliate link. I might do the saving account that River have going but I have my reservations. Also had a bad week with my fountain wallet locking up due to a transaction. I'm realizing that I need to self sovereign my lightening wallets with something like alby. Eitherway still Loving the show and look forward to learning from ya.

Okay sending a boost cause I didn't realize my wallet ran out of sats. DERP moment. With regard with the last episode with crush it really resonated with me cause I'm currently using Warp Terminal and Claude to go through all my markdown notes and clean them up. Plus it help me learn how to research and tech it to use ddgr and lynx to breakdown information and give me summaries. It took me about a week though to get the rules tune cause it like trying to guide a toddler. Anyways I'm warming up to the idea of using llms as a tool to solve problems and document work process that I can reference later. Anyways love U guys! 🙃

Yeah, my phone ended up playing two and three podcasts in the background without me realizing it. So, my loss is the artists gain. Anyways, love what you do and I love your unique take on music. Definitely give me a lot more variety. That's for sure.

Just recently I had a customer complaining about their internet turning off and on and that the LED light was fading away so I automatically assumed it was a bad PoE. I come on site and he tells me well the internet working now. That got me curious and I asked him to show me what he did. He ended up just moving the PoE from on the floor to on top of the router which is on their TV stand and the power supply started working again. So I crouched there for a bit, I swapped the PoE out and I put it on the ground and it turned off. So I put the old PoE back on and traced my hands back towards the outlet and realized that it just fell right out of the receptacle. I basically told him yo replace the receptical and he will get an electrician to do that. Luckily there was another outlet not too far so their internet stays on. I also recomended a UPS cause power out there is not stable. This all came to my mind as I heard Steve's story to check hardware first mentality. Saved my bacon for sure.
