500 Always fun to feel like you want to be in the room during a podcast. Erik, you said you wanted to support the Einstein not the 99k other mouth breathers (my addition :). Question how do we identify the Einstein? The « Lost Einstein Theory » is one of the many talking points around a UBI. If everyone had « enough » to shine we could find the shiny Einsteins and further support them…thoughts?

Both guests, Simon Dixon here and Lyn Alden on Peter McCormack’s show, were outside of their usual comfort zone, and did great jobs framing things for the audience. It got me thinking how we need to meet people where they are. Cheers

I’m wondering if anyone listening here is from my area and would like to help to orange pill these folks? Also the idea of insisting on denominating in Sats; I lived in Mexico for two months once and by the end of that short time I had started to think in Pesos. It doesn’t take long. Cheers

420 Super Argument Dennis. Tom blendet Kernproblematik aufgrund von Indizien-DoS ab und kommt zu falschen Rückschlüssen. Ganz ohne technisches Verständnis kann man halt leider keine Rückschlüsse auf Validität der Indizien und Schutz vor Zentralisierung ziehen, sorry Tom.

420 Genau andersrum, Ver und Co waren die großen Player (Exchanges, Miner, ..) die ihre Geschäftsmodelle schützen wollten und via Blockgröße einfachste Lösung durchdrücken wollten (Zentralisierung). Mining Pools würden mit Bigblocks noch mehr zentralisiert sein weil schwerer Nodes zu betreiben. Pools ist ein Problem, Lösung Stratum v2, Ocean/Datum um Blocktemplates zu dezentralisieren. Ver/Bigblocks hätte nichts daran geändert bzw. verschlimmert. Blocksizewar als neutralere Quelle lesen.

500 As an educator AI is a tool to first draft output like report card comments, email responses, lessons plans, and unit planning. Essentially it has increased my productivity, reducing my hours, allowing me to spend more time on human interactions with my students and colleagues. Same result as when I started using online testing tools and translation software (second language teacher) as they became more effective over the last 2 decades.

420 Puh, wenig Insights in die Problematik. Die op_return filter datacarrier und datacarriersize sollen auch entfernt werden, also nicht mehr konfigurierbar. op_return kostet 4x fees daher wird weiter über witness gespamt werden, und noch paar andere Punkte die das Ganze kontrovers machen.

The stay home with no purpose narrative isn’t what UBI is about. No one is sitting at home rotting on a 2K a month UBI. I think of UBI as a financial floor no one can fall below, not a safety net, or an income replacement. It’s a lot of things, but if your sitting around rotting on an allowance of that level the problem is not the UBI. It would be a entrepreneurial boost for me. What would 2K a month do for you?
