500 Great episode! Up here in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada we have an active farmers market culture with a strong cash is king culture. I’m wondering if anyone listening here is from my area and would like to help to orange pill these folks? Also the idea of insisting on denominating in Sats; I lived in Mexico for two months once and by the end of that short time I had started to think in Pesos. It doesn’t take long. Cheers

Essentially it has increased my productivity, reducing my hours, allowing me to spend more time on human interactions with my students and colleagues. Same result as when I started using online testing tools and translation software (second language teacher) as they became more effective over the last 2 decades.

2.1k This reminds me of the first book I read on blockchains « The Truth Machine ». Always building your reputation, still as anonymous as you choose, and your reputation still has value. Way down the line, but could you imagine a « sorry » button? And a « forgiven » button? Seems people either say nothing for fear of becoming a meme, or hide behind burner accounts, and have no guard rails. Wouldn’t it be nice to feel you could fuck up and make amends?

1k A number of questions…how is Elon less of a ruler, by definition, not trying to be argumentative, and do we not delay the process of embracing the power of decentralization when we speak about the « rulers » we don’t hate like they are somehow better than the ones we do? If Elon wants my support tokenize and dentralize X and buy some of the coins.
