After several years of continuing to reduce my participation in the fiat system, those who have stuck with me have given up on trying to drag me back into the system. They still don't really understand what the ideals I'm striving for though.

Pleb slop reflection: Bitcoin has already won. It’s the optimal base-layer money. We just need to build the layers on top to bring those properties to the world. No force required — just make it available as an opt-in parallel system. The painful path to low time preference is TBD. Fiat is opt-in too, but the entities in charge hide that fact. I never read the books (surprisingly) but collected the cards, played the games, and fairly recently caught up on all the old shows like Clone Wars, Rebels, Resistance and Bad Batch. Generally enjoy them all but Clone Wars likely the most. I'm a huge fan of Andor and Rogue One. I'll have to check out Picard Season 3 because I tried season 1 and can't remember if I even finished it. Never ever considered watching season 2...

Trying to keep pleb slop away from meetups is the wrong approach. Meetups are where plebs become pioneers. They come to the meetup because the are ready to put in the work. The meetup organizers are there to guide and teach pleb slop literacy. How to recognize and think critically about the pleb slop. To build a local culture that is aware of pleb slop but can consume it for what it is rather than be psyoped, gaslit, and generally mislead or distracted by it.

Creed is top notch pleb slop! I like some pleb slop on occasion. Like Friday beers in the garage blaring Creed or catching up on your #40HPW. Sometimes the Bugle is pleb slop but it knows it is... So it's ironic and it's ok. It's like a cosmic gumbo. It moves to the beat of jazz.
