Hopeful on local models. One must learn to cook using the toolbox of local models vs use the fast food version (Anthropic). Currently a hybrid approach seems to work pretty well. Doing some prompt engineering through a model like Grok on what you want to do and how to tell an agent running on local models to do that job. I built a functional Nostr client as a chrome extension using Qwen 3.6 27B after prompt engineering with a cloud model.

Great Star Wars discussion! I never read the books (surprisingly) but collected the cards, played the games, and fairly recently caught up on all the old shows like Clone Wars, Rebels, Resistance and Bad Batch. Generally enjoy them all but Clone Wars likely the most. I'm a huge fan of Andor and Rogue One. More or less the same thing happened multiple times in the last two centuries with the Industrial Revolution, with transportation and means of producing goods, and the silicon age of widespread computing. What will a finite digital hard money and intelligent auto-complete-technology(AI) that you can adapt to whatever field to get productivity gains do for the future…? I feel like you @npub1z9hy7a0n8… in terms of trying to minimize needing AI as crutches to do things trivially but we do already have so many crutches and rely on them! I think we’re on the precipice of a new schema of reality in interaction in the world around us and we’re still just scratching the surface…
