Fundamentals, how can you possibly say that we have free markets in America… and “Blackrock is doing the most work to defund the fiat system”? . American free markets are as big of an illusion as the two party system making us a democracy… and Blackrock IS the fucking Fiat system. Simon Dixon just laid down a compelling argument on Bitcoin Hard Talk episode #102 “blackrock’s evil plan to steal your bitcoin“ that’s worth a listen… Deep dives a lot of what you guys are talking about… TDLR; we don’t need to fear the government as much as we need to fear the financial industrial complex that controls it. PS love caribou‘s optimism on changing the political system to change the monetary system, but Lynn Alden is right, nothing stops this train short of it driving off a cliff because enough of us boycott the system. Same with ticks… I won’t be scared of nature, but I’ll certainly take all the precautions to not get exposed to their bio weapon. I’ve seen way too many friends here in the Midwest have their lives and health destroyed by them.

The Canadian Trucker protest taught the governments more about bitcoin, than bitcoiners about the government. As bitcoiners, we showed our hand in terms of our weak points and our inability to plan, leaving us vulnerable as a group. With the greater use of mesh networks, we might stand a chance against the larger operations done federally, but we are very much exposed due to the already public nature we all must live our lives. I worry that by the time our next freedom is challenged in the Western world, we will all be captured. A simple decree of enemy of the state and we are forced to flee or go underground. I greatly appreciate the interview with N Caribou, but the fact remains that he was put into the same category as the FLQ terrorist and no amount of de-escalation tactics will save us from the midnight knock at the door.
