As a larp with chauffeur knowledge.. trying to become less and less so I must say this podcast episode definetly puts some noise in the signal of quantum computing this and quantum computing that in cryptography privacy and bitcoin discusssions. I think what you guys provide is a good starting point with someone who did some calc and stats and algebra in college but doesn’t want to bite the bullet for going back for a whole degree in it.

1000% agree. Reminder that the thing to be bullish on is life and the people around you, not just bitcoin.

Inflation narrative is the one to make Bitcoin rise the most quickly… paradoxical we want the price to go up but that generally speaking means that much more inflation has taken place so the want for it to stay at 60K forever is better for everyone… trippy stuff!!!

Get some entropy with the @npub1563z6kxmv… , mix in some @npub1jcympy69p… , @npub1kqrddzzl6… , any one of @npub12eml5kmtr… ‘s Phish or math podcasts, DO NOT MISS hellmoney, then add some Bitcoin Matrix or Bitcoin Infinity show or even BitcoinAudible some @npub1vzjukpr2v… or some @npub10qrssqjsy… and even some Pompliano / Jordy Visser stuff from YouTube and then take a look at poly market at predictions and then one can say successfully they have a multivendor multisig of information inside the Bitcoin world.

Hopeful on local models. One must learn to cook using the toolbox of local models vs use the fast food version (Anthropic). Currently a hybrid approach seems to work pretty well. Doing some prompt engineering through a model like Grok on what you want to do and how to tell an agent running on local models to do that job. I built a functional Nostr client as a chrome extension using Qwen 3.6 27B after prompt engineering with a cloud model.

I like the signal of the end of the bear market being Saylor selling a large chunk of coin. And I’m trying to get in the mindset of this crabwalking downhill market from October last year taking much longer than anticipated. As a casual listener to the Motivate the Math and Magic Internet Math when you guys were talking about the concept of orthogonal within a matrix, in respect to linear algebra, it had me wondering if the concept applies to finite fields as well or perhaps the concepts are one and the same... still tons to learn! Anyways from the concept of something being almost an external stimulus, I.e. being orthogonal in nature.. how many things throughout human’s evolution have been orthogonal to the momentary schema of existence…? @npub12eml5kmtr… ‘s your unpopular opinion about the “crutches” of that were supposed to evolve to lean on to expand human progress perhaps is a 10000 foot view of present state with technological advancement where we are now. More or less the same thing happened multiple times in the last two centuries with the Industrial Revolution, with transportation and means of producing goods, and the silicon age of widespread computing. What will a finite digital hard money and intelligent auto-complete-technology(AI) that you can adapt to whatever field to get productivity gains do for the future…? I feel like you @npub1z9hy7a0n8… in terms of trying to minimize needing AI as crutches to do things trivially but we do already have so many crutches and rely on them! I think we’re on the precipice of a new schema of reality in interaction in the world around us and we’re still just scratching the surface…

It’s such a great perspective to hear you talk to younger guys like SlyGoomba who’re crashing out or who were all in and putting their lives on hault to stack sats hard AF. The self resentment that becomes apparent during bear cycles when we went all in and what do we have to show for it.. this episode is a good reminder to love that version of ourselves that went all in.

Bitcoin as a reference for objective truth… this black monolith that just appears while humans are essentially monkeys beating each other to death with bones and continue to do while some of the monkeys start to observe this objective unchangeable thing that just appeared in our world.. more and more monkeys becoming civilized or changed as they start to absorb this reality of a unchangeable thing.. At what point is it up to the monkeys to maintain this black monolith to remain the objective source of reality? Where does that tie into bitcoin? Great episode!

Sweet episode! I don’t always listen to Back on the Chain but this one hits me deep almost akin to the ride of a psychedelic experience where it goes from you guys talking about some funny crazy stories when you were younger to being alright with yourself and truly loving oneself and even the stoicism.

Get some entropy up in ya ear! Noise from you guys will be part of the decentralization of media in the sense that it’s more than noise. You guys act as one of the arbiters of entropy in the podcast space, and might be part of the reason in the future why more people go from BTC ETF’s to self custody, all the while not recommending a single point of failure in self custody.

Purity tests and pure trust in an entity claiming authority by association to hard money aren’t the way! Well said!!! Red teaming is part of why immutable permissionless open source monetary architecture will be so successful. Despite the bear in fiat terms, the community coming together after what will be noted in history of as one of the most important battles for self custody, and likely the start of more to come, is majorly bullish for Bitcoin!!

How big of a risk is RFID leakage from hardware wallets and computers and phones for a transaction where other hardware is nearby? Referring to IOT devices particularly as well as Windows and Mac computers that might be able to sniff the RF leakage from devices in the same room or nearby… Love the technical aspect of this show.

Like getting a large amount of wealth, Max, learning a sense of rhythm and to play instruments requires a large degree of low time preference. Some come to it much easier than others and are lacking in other areas. In the age of AI produced music learning and having a skill like playing the guitar will become an ungovernable trait.
