Thank you to everyone at Lake Satoshi - thank you especially to Mike and PF for all their efforts, I hope to actually meet them next year. One of my favorite conversations was with a lady who has known Mike for 20 something years and talks about how this type of event is just a normal Saturday for their friends and family. Not only is the PMM and Meshtadel my type of people but these Michiganders are my type of people too! - my kids will be talking about this their entire lives and are already so excited to go next year! I will do my best to arrive earlier than 1 o’clock in the morning next time!

I certainly feel like a LARP most of the time. But generally speaking aren’t we all LARPing as a living creature in preparation for eternity? Either spend your time here trying to be a “good” person or maybe one day you answer for your sins before the Lord himself. I do really appreciate the comment about raising girls who won't need me one day. It's my biggest goal but my greatest fear. The thought of failure or success are both terrifying. Trying to enjoy time with my children while they are kids while also ALWAYS considering their future as an adult is a juxtaposition that I don’t think most humans fully understand. Cultivate that passion within them, protect that innocence, but also ensure they fully understand the world is ready to terminate all their hopes and dreams at any moment...

My favorite part of this episode was when they were watching a video we couldn't see. Should have named the last episode “Cash for Clankers” - I honestly thought the title was “Clunkers” until y’all switched to robotism... Anyway, man, I have so many stories about buying or selling cars! Dealerships are the worst! We just dealt with one and it was quite a situation! This poor kid sold his first car to me and I took him on a rollercoaster of emotions!

In my profession dealing with bureaucrats.... I love when people talk about something they did that "got them in trouble“ with the local boot lickers. Half my job is designing shit in AutoCAD and half is dealing with bureaucrats and I honestly don't know which one I love/hate more .... But I have found my neighborhood superpower is when I get a referral to a new neighbor and then I can go into the planning department and gaslight them into giving my new neighbor a permit. Sometimes it's not worth the fight but just convincing the people in charge that you cannot be governed is worth it whether they realize it or not.....
