Great rip! I listened to this little late since I was traveling and I’m trying to catch up. Not just on podcasts, but all the technology you’re talking about here and on RHR, etc. I am only about 15 months into this whole Bitcoin/freedom tech rabbit hole and it is a bit overwhelming for an GenXr who’s busy learning how to get out of the fiat world while working a full time fiat job.
In regard to the friction you feel when checking out and not wanting to have a conversation with the barista, I got you… I’m trying to orange pill everyone I can so I actually ask every single cashier if they take bitcoin just to plant the seed and every now and then a conversation is spawned.

500 My New Year’s wish for 2026 is that Bitcoiners also use their Bitcoin.
There is one place where I disagree with Michael Saylor — when he says “never sell your Bitcoin.” I understand what he means, but a Bitcoiner who truly understands what it means to be a Bitcoiner also spends Bitcoin.
I agree that there are still not many places in Europe that accept Bitcoin directly. But we do have good tools, like Bringin and Wavecard, that make it possible to use your Bitcoin through Lightning.
Stack hard — and spend a little less carefully.
