Bassload and I have frequently discussed the comparative energy consumption of AI versus the caloric intake of the human brain. The energy extracted from the Earth and converted for use would need to be significantly higher for AI to even approach the productivity/creativity levels of the human brain. AI's energy consumption would far exceed that required by humans, yet it would still not nearly match the brain's efficiency or output. The energy consumed by the soul is not of this earth and cannot be measured by earthly metrics.

Now we have a lovely, cozy coffee shop in the town square to meet at 6AM and plan our days together, catch up on the town’s happenings, and bond with one another. I look forward to having many cups of Otis Bitmeyer coffee with other Meahtadelians both physically and metaphysically.

The unsung heroes of Podcasting like @npub1nhecqz3gp… and Barry @npub1pj3a304qs… do so much work behind the scenes and I’m truly grateful for it. It’s good to keep in mind for that pressing start and stop on a recording are only the beginning. There are teams of people working behind the scenes to take that recording and not only get it to the listeners, but enable them to be a part of the show. NOSTR hopium is becoming just as bad as Bitcoin hopium. Developing NOSTR reputations over fostering real world relationships makes relationship building unnecessarily complicated, a Rube-Goldberg relationship machine.

The strength of the Meshconomy will be Meshtadelians trading hard money for goods, and services with other members who truly understand the value prop in participating in the circular plebconomy. Replacing everyday household items with pleb made goods will bring more than enough value to the consumer to justify the potential higher price of said goods and services.
