There's literally no need for hardware wallets. I've never trusted them and never have. You'd have to be both a software and hardware engineer to know they're safe. Satoshi didn't need one and all his roughly 22k individual wallets are still safe. Roll your own dice and use multisig and passphrases if you feel the need.

Ya, just moved my ably sats to fountain. Not only is it prohibitively expensive to set up a node unless you have capable hardware at your disposal but even with a good internet connecting start 9 is tor only which never seems to work when I need it but does when I don't.

S9s are only good for heat and solo lottery mining at this point and at my electricity rate not even that. If I run my S9 balls to the wall it costs me $300+ a month in electric. I'm down to bitaxe and nerdminers now.
