Many pioneers will find themselves in ghost towns, unfortunately. Permaculture can help avoid ghost towns with these three principles: creativity use and respond to change, self regulate accept and apply feedback, value diversity.

Communities need "import/export" if they want to be relevant and not become ghost towns. Archipelagos not isolated islands. Good Jews pray for "moshiach, speedily and in our time".
