Thx for another insightful episode! Regarding the distilling of personality, that story reminded me of a German researcher called Sven Gabor Janszky. He‘s been researching how the future could unfold for many years and in one of his books he‘s already got a „grandpa bot“ who‘s basically the personality of the subject‘s father. And the subject uses this bot to talk to his father in the evenings and even allows his daughter, who‘s still somehow traumatized by the loss of her beloved grandfather, to use the bot to soothe her. Interesting but quite weird IMHO! I‘d rather train an AI bot on all my Obsidian files to be faster in retrieving information buried there…

By the way, I absolutely support your take that a lot of media coverage today focusses on the negative aspects. I‘m keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏻 As for nicotine, it‘s not addictive according to my knowledge — what‘s addictive is the myriad of other components mixed into cigarette tobacco and vaping fluids. Nicotine even helps blocking spike proteins from docking to cells. So your nicotine patches will have a doubly positive effect! I‘m looking forward to meeting your new self on the other side…

Amish, Mormons, they all focus more on family as wealth — and I guess we all could profit by taking a step back from our rat race & ask ourselves what we really cherish is life. There are a ton of businesses owned by baby boomers that want to retire in the next couple of years. The question is, are there enough entrepreneurs interested in taking them over?
