We all have mad respect for the Fountain guys. Frankiepaint and myself are actually each doing Fountain Radio Takeovers to promote this show. It's about using whatever app works best for you. Maybe you can remember this site. nudepodcastapps.com yes nude My daily driver is Podverse but Curiocaster, PodcastGuru and Castamatic are also great. These apps do require an Alby account to send sats but if you have AlbyHub setup give them a shot. I'm sending this from Fountain (also great) but PC 2.0 is about listeners being able to choice whatever app they want.

Correct @npub15c88nc8d4… you can run your own relay. I have one locally on Start9 and one in the cloud. I should look into downloading my data from other relays and put them on mine. 🤔 For me I use Nostr to see if anything cool can be used in PC 2.0. In fact I've been listening to this episode and streaming sats in @npub1t8cmt7hjn… because it uses my own lightning node. This Boostagram from Fountain is just so it shows up on Nostr. Cross app comments have been a hot topic in PC 2.0 for years so I'm just trying to pump data into the system to see how it goes. Doing this in Fountain also is the easiest way to do this since this episode in Fountain is the root post for the Nostr comments. I'd love my Boostagrams from the apps using AlbyHub to be posted to Nostr but it's not a deal breaker because using Podverse with my own node is already my dream setup so the devs can do whatever they want with their apps. I rambled a little so my 333 Boost amount got upgraded to a "Satchel of Richards"

Trading a CBDC for a PPDC means that your transactions can be censored by that company without the protection of the Constitution, they can really do whatever they want and the government can just say "it wasn't us". This just eases everyone into a more centralized system slowly. It's still a garbage solution and doubles as a way for the government to print more, which is why all the politicians and financial crowd like it. Changing your lnaddress in a RSS feed is just as hard/easy as changing your keysend address is now. Using Primal and want to switch to Strike? Still need to change it in the feed. No difference and no one is going to selfhost a lnaddress look up so they can change it on the backend and only time.

Shit posting aside I see what Oscar is trying to do and see the vision but I'm all here for the other devs so we just need some time for everyone to hash this all out. The current system works and is solid if you've been playing along this whole but it is limited. It's also not going to be an easy change however we do it.

I've been setting up mine to automatically log conversations. I've been feeding it all of my notes and business ideas. Everything gets automatically cataloged into obsidian. That obsidian vault is included in the QMD database for vector memory search. My agents have excellent short and long-term memory with minimal token usage. To set it up right, you really need to spend quite a while setting it up - or buy the files from somewhere. I've been setting up going on 3 weeks. It has already made me more productive. Soon my calendar will be synchronized. Client leads with automatically be filtered and surfaced front and center to me. The more you use something like this, the more you will start to understand how you can compound little abilities on top of each other. One cron job can trigger a cascade of events and work. I have used simplistic bots for many years. I used to have one that would pay my child support for me. That ran with no issues for about 5 years before they updated the site and broke my bot. I used to use another one for automatically populating descriptions and titles for an online store. At that time, I was replacing an employee with a simple bot. These things have been providing real value for people, for longer than people assume. Again it all comes down to how you use it and what you're doing with it. 6 to 12 months from now the landscape will be much different. Right now it's very hard to set up correctly and easy to burn money if you don't know what you're doing. But soon a lot of these things will be ironed out and much more normal people will be able to get higher value from it. On top of that, every time the models get better or cheaper, that means you can also upgrade your system to be smarter or cheaper.

I don't know who's spending $1,000 but you doing it wrong. I spent $15 in the past 3 weeks with more usage than I've ever had. It all depends on the model. But If they are also using it to do scraping and analyzing, it's not exactly simple work. And if you compare that to a human being doing the same work - that $1,000 is probably much cheaper than a human spending the time manually scraping and analyzing. I think I saw a graph recently saying that Claude opus outputs - in one prompt - between 5 and 15 hours of human work. Obviously that's not on every prompt, but that's pretty substantial even if it's expensive at a 30 cent API call, then maybe it's an extremely good deal. It's all very relative to what you're using it for and what your accomplishing in the end. Some of us have been playing with AI models for years already so we already know how to prompt better and we get better results. You've got to keep playing with different models - talk to them in different ways - and be explicit, try to remove ambiguity. And if you're having problems writing prompts - ask one AI to write a prompt for you to give to the other.. and that will often increase your chance of a one shot successful prompt

With selfhosting your own music on a website and running a node for the payments it's hard for use to give up that control to another 3rd party. I'm still happy to test stuff but what @npub14c7ksq2wl… are doing is the end goal imo and I just don't want us to get back into being trapped by Big Music again.
