RE: Fedimints and Freedom One in particular. 3 of the 4 guardians have been offline for around 3 weeks now making anyone with sats in that mint unable to move them out before they actually shutdown. My dad is 83. In the last three years he has started focusing on building up fiat so he can leave a lot to the grandkids and great grand kids. He got scammed on $2k and agreed to have myself and a sister to approve any plan over $100. I thing the old lady likely was thinking the same, “I need more so I can leave it to my family because they have not had the same good life I have.” The biggest issue is he does not think through like he use to. His thinking is like a teenager, only looking at now and believing only the best can result. I think that is part of the decline humans go through.
