He’s an outspoken advocate for Alberta independence, arguing that the breakup of the Canadian confederation and Bitcoin are two expressions of the same underlying shift toward sovereignty and jurisdictional competition. 420 Following up on your comments about Stacker News. It’s not that they want it to be siloed away from nostr.
It was started before nostr was a thing and they’re building integration. Right now it’s similar to Fountain: if you have an npub, your posts can go out to nostr relays and be broadcast as notes but not everyone does and their posts live entirely on the site. I believe further integration is on the devs roadmap.

420 If you aren’t already familiar with their work, I think you’d be interested in the work of Jonathan Haidt and Arnold Kling.
They’re both social scientists who were interested in understanding these different types of groups that form societies.
Each of them independently found there to be three main groups that breakdown roughly along the lines you laid out. Although, something weird may have happened to the left because conformity with authority isn’t usually part of it.
You would most likely be in the smaller of the three groups that approximately maps to libertarians.
