'A Mathematican's Lament' by Paul Lockhart is a great short book on the topic of Math Culture. True Mathematics at its core is creativity, coming up with new and interesting solutions to problems.
Also as an aside if you aren't using Natural Log you aren't a Mathematician 😜

This was a nice break from the first seven episodes so far. They still got into it with the Logarithms in the last third of the episode, but it gave me some (I can't find the right words for it) 'Necessary Comfort' to get to hear both of these guys talk about some of the why as to what the aim is with these conversations and more importantly sharing them. I know that I'm not the only one who is supporting this, but to bring you guys some 'necessary Comfort', I will stay with you on this ride. I'm grateful, and knew from the first episode that these are some important ideas/perspectives I need at this time in my life.
