Another thing that thar the interviewer doesn't get is how easy it is to verify identy is using the network affect, plus verifying the public key (npub) for instance if you have a friend you know and trust and they are following someone you can see that person is real. If you have hundreds or thousands following then you can assume that is verified. Most fake ones will have very few followers.

Jeff's gone guru and has left the cave entirely. Love how he immediately flipped the first question as an interview into a conversation. It was a trip and treat to listen to the whole thing but now I'm left wanting a Booth v Saylor discussion knowing such discourse would never be made public.

Fantastic conversation @Efrat Fenigson + @npub1s05p3ha7e… The control system and the open, secure decentralized protocol bounded by energy cannot coexist indefinitely. That is why we are witnessing the current attempt to l centralize bitcoin and make it an asset. Bitcoin is money. 2026 is the year of using it.

Thank you for this conversation. It’s nice to hear some centeredness and optimism. Bitcoin hasn’t won yet. It only wins if we can make people understand it’s money, and then help them use it as money. Bitcoin is incongruent with the socialist plans of the central bankers and states. Resistance will only succeed if we can make sure enough are using it as freedom money. In the meantime, we have to quiet our minds, fill our hearts and lead by example. I really like Jeff’s point that the problem is not them but us. We all have to take responsibility for living under the fiat standard that crushes everyone. I’m going to change my behavior this year to align more with that idea.
