210 Hal Finney was the first person to recognize utility in Satoshi's software. I wouldn't have understood bitcoin's utility back then, but that doesn't mean it had no utility. The man behind RPOW thought it had utility. The fact that your dentist doesn't recognize bitcoin's utility because she can't use it to fill a cavity is moot.

1k Selfcustody muss bei Bitcoin immer eine valide Option sein, sonst ist eine wesentliche Eigenschaft von Bitcoin nicht gegeben: Zensurresistenz.
Selbstverständlich ist alleinige Selfcustody für bestimmte usecases nicht optimal, sollte aber immer möglich bleiben.

Aber um die Antwort auf die Abschlussfrage habt ihr Euch ein bisschen herumgeschlängelt. Für mich persönlich wäre die Antwort: am meisten sorgen müsste man sich, wenn sich die amerikanischen Miningpoolbetreiber und die grossen ökonomischen Nodes zusammentun - weil die industriellen Miner jedes Fork activation flag über das Template unkritisch übernehmen würden.
