Concerning Bitcoin teaching aids, Connor Boyack's Tuttle Twins has some good stuff, there's a blockchain memory game called SHArmory, and I've seen a graphic novel teaching aid a while back. Along those lines, it's relatively easy to DIY your own air-gapped hardware wallet using a spare 64bit laptop/netbook plus any flavor of Linux, 1 or 2 BIP39 entropy programs to generate your secret (the 2nd to validate), and Sparrow for your wallet. This would functionally work like a ColdCard Q with a real keyboard (passphrase support!). Just remember to disable wifi/Bluetooth (airgap) and verify hashes for everything you install BEFORE you generate secrets.

Thanks for the emergency update Chris! I'm going to share an unpopular opinion in that there were 2 issues with this exploit. The 1st and most infuriating issue is with the Coinkite entropy code. That's unexcusable and horrible. The 2nd issue is HODLers choosing a niche, "security 1st" hardware wallet and not rolling their own entropy and not using a strong passphrase. They would've been better off with a mainstream, user-friendly hardware wallet like a Ledger or Trezor.

Concerning the 650 watt S9 spaceheater, I use the purpose-built Braiins OS in the controller. With that you can adjust the wattage and the fan speed. I swapped out the loud stock fans with Noctua fans using 3d printed adapters. Noctua fans at 55% speed are quiet and push out a comfortable, chicken-safe, level of heat. Crypto Cloaks has all the adapters and a great DIY guide for setting it up. I added a cut-to-fit HVAC filter over the intake to reduce cleaning intervals. The hardest part of the whole settup was getting the wifi dongle to work. Set one up. You'll love it.

Speaking of incorporating bitcoin into farming, I have an Antminer S9 that works fantastic as a 650 watt space heater while earning around 375 sats per day (through Braiins pool).
