I’m a software engineer at IBM, and there’s been a recent push for us to start using what is essentially an internal clone of Claude Code as a “coding buddy.” My team has mainly been using it heavily to help speed up our code review process, which has been our biggest bottleneck. That said, everything is still human-gated. As with most new tools, the team is split. About half are adamantly against using it, while the other half probably lean on it a bit too much. I’ve often said that AI won’t take your job, someone who uses AI better than you will.

Woke up for an early run and, about halfway through, turned on the TWIB Cold Card episode with absolutely no idea what was going on. I immediately turned around and sprinted home at the fastest pace I’ve ever run. Thanks for keeping me up to date… and for the unexpected interval workout.

As someone whose wife is a government employee we have had to scale back our DCA sadly. Once that backpay hits though we are going to smash buy (hopefully before the price jumps back up 🤣)

David Sacks’ tenure will probably end up in the same category as Donald Trump’s presidency, lots of loud “I alone can fix it” energy, plenty of chaos, and in the end either things got worse or we all just went in a very exhausting circle.

Love the idea of a minimum shout out boost from last episode being 2k+episode number. Keeping the train going.
