I’m not a Chicago native, but growing up 90 miles SW (Starved Rock), weekend trips were a constant. I went to DePaul and lived in Lincoln Park in the late 90s /early 2000s. The city was beautiful. World-Class.
I rarely go anymore. I’d never let my teenage kids run up there for the day, or a concert, like I constantly did.
Chicago and Illinois are naturally beautiful, but being destroyed by greed, incompetence, and cheap money.
Keep doing what you do, Jack, it is appreciated and valued.
