The only insulting part here was Saylor. He dodged the real questions by attacking Danny because he couldn't give him a candid answer.
Danny's question is absolutely valid. "Pure-play" Bitcoin treasury companies are not simply competing to buy bitcoin, as Saylor tried to frame it. Rather, they are all in the same business of repackaging bitcoin and selling it as products to TradFi. As such, the pool of potential stock buyers is limited. He knows that, and the question of how many of these the market supports is completely valid. The answer is probably just a handful.
But Saylor cannot say that. He needs them to think they all can do what Strategy is doing because, of course, more pure-play Bitcoin treasury companies mean a higher bitcoin valuation. That's pure grifting behavior.
