Cross-app interplay is the future I would like to see. Good call, Chad. In regards to Music… When I use Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal or any commercial streaming music app, i like to “like” albums or even save individual tracks to playlists. Can Nostr be the protocol that connects it all?

Chad, you mentioned having the issue sharing my link on X and I’m still having the issue. Working through it. I’ll figure it out. That said, Nostr has been my home base. It is doing what it is supposed to. When sharing on traditional platforms becomes a problem, Nostr works at least for that part!

This quote from Chad in episode 6 is interesting to consider, “Music playlists are how we get podcast playlists to take off”. My thoughts: The length of music tracks versus podcast episodes versus audio books presents different use cases for playlists. It’s obviously more relevant for music tracks because they are shorter. I would like to see this functionality for a listener of full-length music albums too. It would be great to listen to a band or musicians full discography from their first release to their latest for example.

Haha. RE Cheesesteaks: I’m also a lover of this wonderful sandwich. In New England, we call it Steak and Cheese, but it’s a different sandwich. It’s American cheese and chopped steak usually. That said, I am curious if you have ever had a North Shore Roast Neef Sandwich. It hails from the North Shore of Massachusetts and is a butter grilled onion bun, with house made roast beef, usually top round, served “3-way” with James River BBQ sauce and xtra heavy Mayo. Look up the North Shore Beef’s facebook group for more info. If you haven’t tried it, it sounds weird, but it’s really good.
